I flew into Seattle on Saturday to stay with a friend, the world knows him simply as Crazy. I was treated to a first class tour of Seattle, it’s residents and plenty of things to see. I’ll be posting most of the images on my Flickr for you all to see.
If you ever get an opportunity to see Seattle I’d highly recommend you jump at the chance. Yesterday we visited the Space Needle, had lunch with Xbox Community Manager DMZilla at Po Dog and wandered the streets of Seattle. We also went to Pike Place Market and saw the original Star Bucks shop. There are hundreds of them here but this one was by far the busiest.
Tonight I’m headed down to Bellvue and saying goodbye to Crazy for the week. We are picking up some other MVP’s who are flying in to the airport this afternoon and tonight. We will be heading out to Consumer Camp which is open to the public. If you’re in the area you should stop by and say hello……maybe even win something.

Just a quick video for today. These are pretty easy once you figure out the patterns. The good thing about these runs is that they don’t have to be absolutely perfect to get a Gold. They have to be good but unlike a lot of games it doesn’t have to be a completely flawless perfect run. I’ll probably put a few of these up. Once I get to the Intermediate Challenges and have to start shooting stuff I may totally suck and not finish.
A friend of mine asked me how Warp was and what the gameplay was like. It’s pretty much a top down puzzle, stealth, platformer, science escape kind of game. After a few attempts explaining it, I decided it was best to just make him a video and show a few things. This is the product of that conversation.
It’s a fairly straight forward game. Some would say short and there is an achievement for beating the game in like an hour and 15 minutes or something. Although that’s not easily done. There are challenges and collectibles. That might sound intimidating but there are only 8 challenges and you can unlock an upgrade that will show you the locations of the collectibles. One such collectible is a grub which is used as “money” to purchase the upgrades to your alien.
All in all it’s not bad game. It’s 800 MSP and the first release for XBLA House Party which is kind of like “Late Winter of Arcade” sort of thing. Enjoy
