Most Memorable Videogame Villains

Everybody and their grandmother has a list when it comes to this, so I thought I would do a short one for the hell of it as well.

I’m going to leave out classic era characters (with the exception of a few) and Metal Gear Solid characters, simply because my nostalgia for the 8bit generation & Metal Gear’s long list of beloved villains would take up half of this list, plus I know they’ve been done to death in just about every list on the internet. This list will consist mostly of this generation of console’s most memorable villains.

So hit the jump and let’s get started. Continue reading

Xbox Community Avatar Collection

20120724-093429.jpg I’ve been asked for a long time where I got the Rooster Teeth gamer pic. The answer to that is from community driven content like the avatar items listed below. You’ll find some of your favorite community websites on wristbands, hoodies, hats and more. Sites include Unscripted 360, Xbox Addict, 360 Sync, XBLAFans and more. Xbox LIVE Secruity Information Update

Earlier today General Manager of Xbox LIVE, Alex Garden, has posted a community blog thread about new secruity information that has been implemented to keep your details and account safe. The rundown of new features are as followed.

  • We’ve taken legal action to pull down online posts of gamertags, usernames and passwords gathered from malware or phishing schemes to help protect our members.
  • Our Xbox LIVE Spring update included many behind the scenes improvements that help us build on security enhancements for the near future.
  • We’re sending unique codes to the security phone numbers and secondary email addresses provided by members to verify authorization for Xbox.com purchases or account change attempts not stemming from a member’s trusted device.
  • We’re working to reduce market incentives for criminal activity. Engaging in identity theft, trading in stolen accounts and committing credit card fraud are illegal and violate our Terms of Use. Those involved in these activities risk criminal prosecution, account and console bans. That goes for both sellers and buyers of known stolen accounts and content.

You can read the full low-down and more information and what you can do to keep your account and gamertag safe here.
